Figure Four

Sean P. is one of the best rapper’s out right now! Hands down. He’s got a sound and rhymes to match. Price covering this beat is the best I have heard since Pacewon did it back in the day. Go punch a school bus!

Sade – Skin

January 28, 2010

It’s almost time for my ex-wife to bring her newest project to life on Feb. 9th. Here is another leak off Soldier of Love called Skin. Only Sade could sing “Like Michael back in the day” on a R&B beat and get away with it. Our Divorce was never finalized. Just Saying….

Viktum of ElectroTherapy

January 26, 2010

Dallas’s own Rob Viktum gives a little “wiki wiki” to Exhibit C. This guy is one of the few I know that does something for this town, and usually does it with great beats. Peep his new site and look for more from the MegaRoyal crew this year.

New Dilla Foundation

January 26, 2010

“In the year since Vibe Magazine published the article The Battle for J Dilla’s Legacy, exposing the behind-the-scenes disaster of the J Dilla estate, many positive changes have taken place.  J Dilla’s heirs are today announcing a victory in this ‘battle’ with new estate administrator, and the launch of the website j-dilla.com which will officially represent J Dilla and serve as a contact for anyone wishing to do business the artist’s name and music.” via StonesThrow.com

I am extremely happy to see this take place, may this man’s legacy live on through all of us!!
